Time To Get L’eau
Finally, December is in the room!
It’s here, guys, Christmas is 5 minutes away, the calendar is full, the lists are endless, and the sunscreen calm after the tinsel storm (that’d be January) is tantalisingly close.
Traditionally, December is a time when one looks around one's home (which for the past 11 months has been entirely/mostly adequate) and wonders- is there time to build a new one before drinks and nibbles with Carol and Bill next Thursday night?
Madly vacuuming and fluffing the cushions will only get you so far, because there’s the garden too. Blessed by spring rain (
the wettest in a decade, no less), it’s erupted into an unruly jumble of green, which even the most diligent of gardeners have
struggled to control.
The pressure is real.
Take it from us, what you need in these situations is a diversion, a little contrived moment, a trompe l'oeil of sorts to draw the eye to an intended focal point (not the ball of sticky-weed forming up in the back corner), and what better way to do so than to install a water feature.
